Route Description:

If you start in Coldstream, you have plenty of facilities on hand before you head into the depth of Berwickshire.  Here there are plenty of rural roads that are fantastic little runs.  From Coldstream stay on the A6112 all the way.  This road has loads of short straights, demanding corners (and farm traffic) when you least expect - so stay alert.  Duns is a great place to stop.  As you come out of Duns the road just keeps on going and again twists and turns and the odd longer straight all the way to Grantshouse.  From here head north on the A1 (the main north - south road) until Cockburnspath (pronounced Co'burnspath), at the roundabout turn towards the sea to Cove, here there is a car park where, if you desire a short 5 minute stroll to a real hidden gem - Cove Harbour.
