Route Description:

Start in a medieval town Kremnica known for its golden history (gold mines museum, gold mint still in production, gothic cellars, castle, good restaurants). Take a small D tour through Krahule to a monastery in the hills refered to as the Geographic center of Europe. Take the famous Sturec hairpin road (many bikers on sundays) and follow to Spania Dolina, miners village where time stood still. On the way here you pass by restaurant Cierna ovca (Black sheep) - recommended. Consider visiting nearby Harmanecka cave. End up in Banska Bystrica, busy university town with WW2 monument and a great main square.
